Yesterday I went to get my shaggy hair cut. Midway through, while my hair looked like a half completed do from Edward Scissorhands, the barber’s daughter ran into the salon and said, “Papi, Papi, I’m late for school!” Quickly, the barber put down the razor and looked to me, “I’ll be back in five minutes, don’t move.”…Only in Bolivia…

Bolivian Soccer Redemption:

Watched La Paz’s Boliviar dominate Santa Cruz’s Oriente (see previous post about the appalling play of Oriente). Sunday’s match was much more what I expected to see from South American soccer.
