*Just as Obama planned to make a big push for domestic offshore drilling, the recent oil spill probably provided enough negative publicity so that this bill won't be revisited for a long, long time.

*I'm no political scientist, but while the US attempts to impose free elections in it's newest colony in the Middle East and convince the Iraqi public of democratic sovereignty, negating winning candidate's parliamentary seats and contesting the legitimacy of others for former political affiliations surely can't be the best way to improve the integrity of an electoral system.
