Here is a list of a couple of additions I would like to see to add to Boston's allure as Title Town:
1) The Celtics logo has a leprechaun like Irishman biting onto a pipe. Why not honor Red Auerbach and replace that pipe with a cigar? Take a useless emblem and turns it into a relic that houses symbolic Boston pride. In the same fashion that the Marines have historic swords and rituals, these sorts of gestures create auras around teams that give them a larger than life feeling (which could attract admiration and impose fear). With a simple adjustment to their logo, the Celtics could garner their place in Basketball as one of the most legendary clubs branding Celts uniforms with Red's cigar and establishing a legacy that other clubs lack.
2) On the Mass Pike outside Fenway Park, the Red Sox organization needs to install a scoreboard that faces the highway. Right where the billboard condemning gun violence stands, a better moral boost to those weekday commuters would be a nine inning scoreboard, mimickingthe one on the Monster, that lets all the tired people driving home from a long day of work know that their good old home town favorites, the Sox, are winning strong. The more hype the organization gets, the better it is for business and helps expand the franchise and sell merchandise. This provides easy and effective advertisement.
